Opportunity at a Glance: Join us, and learn about the Teaching with Learning Network contests that will introduce educators to the nine contests, as well as additional monthly and weekly challenges, that The Learning Network will be running during the 2021-2022 school year. These contests, through writing, photography, podcast production and more, will provide students with opportunities to exercise their voice and choice, in addition to, creating work for an authentic audience.
During this webinar, our editors will provide participants with the following:
- An overview of the contests;
- A review of what participation will look like with students;
- Resources for preparing for the contests; and
- Discuss how the shared resources fit into the free yearlong writing curriculum.
