Open to: STEM Teachers and All Science Teachers – All Grade Levels
Opportunity at a Glance: In this workshop we will be using all three dimensions of Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Participants will design a coherent and conceptual unit plan that will foster enduring understanding of not only content but the big ideas in science. By the end of the workshop participants will leave with a completed NGSS-aligned unit plan ready for implementation for their classroom as well as several lesson plans. This workshop is designed to be relevant for any grade level level science teacher who uses or plans on using the NGSS to align with their curriculum. Recommended for teachers at any level of experience using NGSS.
