Open to: All Teachers with Experience Teaching the DOE’s HIV/AIDS Curriculum
Opportunity at a Glance: The DOE is developing a new K-12 HIV/AIDS Curriculum that is the following:

  • Science-based;
  • Age-appropriate; and
  • Developed in partnership with national experts, local community leaders, parents/caregivers, and educators.

We are actively recruiting NYC teachers to pilot lessons to at least one grade or more in their current classroom this year, and to provide feedback that will shape the next iteration of the HIV/AIDS Curriculum for all New York City public schools.

To participate, teachers must be licensed and an appointed K-12 NYC DOE teacher who has experience teaching the DOE HIV/AIDS Curriculum to at least one grade level.
