Open to: Grades K-5 Bilingual Educators who are using the HMH ¡Arriba la Lectura! Spanish Language Arts Curriculum
Opportunity at a Glance: During this one-hour workshop, participants will learn how to access and analyze data to accelerate student growth using ¡Arriba la Lectura! instructional strategies, resources, and assessments. By the end of this session, participants will do the following:
- Describe the roles of screening and diagnostic, formative, and summative assessment in ¡Arriba la Lectura!;
- Select appropriate assessments based on needs to monitor student learning; and
- Analyze data to identify and use ¡Arriba la Lectura! instructional strategies and resources to accelerate growth.
