Self-Portraits of Others with Julian Schnabel (CTLE credits available)

Opportunity at a Glance: Surrounded by his most recent work, the artist Julian Schnabel will discuss his creative process and career in relation to Self-Portraits of Others, his solo exhibition currently at the Brant Foundation.  Created between 2018–2020, the series explores the evolution of Schnabel’s artistic practice while making At Eternity’s Gate, a film about the life of Vincent van Gogh.

Learn from Schnabel in the morning and share ideas with other great teachers in the afternoon.

Participants are selected by application/nomination, and have some homework for each session.

CTLE credits offered. Cost: $175, paid by your school. Scholarships available.
