Open to: All Full-time Grades Pre K-12 Classroom Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: The United Nations recognizes clean water and sanitation as a human right, but many of the world’s people lack access to either one. During this three session course, we will discuss models aimed at enhancing access to wastewater treatment and sanitation, and consider activities, including education and training, that can support and empower communities to take charge of their own sanitation needs.
Learn from Chandran in the first two sessions and exchange ideas with each other in the third. Participants are selected by application/nomination, and have some homework for each session.
CTLE credits offered. Cost: $175, paid by your school. Scholarships available.
