Women and the American Story: A Culturally Responsive Approach

Opportunity at a Glance: Join colleagues from across the city, along with Marianne De Padua Assistant Manager of Professional Learning of The New York Historical Society to
examine how to integrate texts that illuminate the role of women in American society. Time will be set aside to specifically focus on Trans Women’s Activism in the Stonewall Era.

Participants will leave with a “ready to implement” curriculum and texts that will deepen the thinking of all students.
