Classroom Quantum Computing: You Can Do It (Grades 9-12)

Open to: Physics Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: During this workshop, participants will explore the physics of quantum computing through the lens of a student. Participants will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the following:

  • Learn some basic quantum mechanics;
  • Explore existing quantum hardware by simulating quantum circuits: and
  • Learn how existing tech can solve real-world problems.

We will provide classroom-ready quantum computing materials, and participants will have an opportunity at the end of the workshop to practice teaching a lesson that could be deliver during the upcoming school year.

**Our target audience is secondary teachers (9-12) of CS, math, or physics.

**Not for alumni of ‘Quantum Computing: A Weird & Wonderful New World’ last summer.
