Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for a full-day workshop with Black Gotham Experience and Soul Science Lab. This workshop will illuminate new perspectives on the Harlem Renaissance and reflect on the importance of community history, and how it is reflected in the political and cultural realities of today.
During this workshop participants will do the following:
- Join an interactive walking tour throughout Harlem with BGX and discuss the importance of why it is essential for students to study the past, examine the present, and consider their role in the future of their community; and
- Together with Soul Science Lab participants will discover performing arts strategies for student engagement and academic enrichment.
