Open to: All Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: Learn about NYC’s wastewater treatment process from experts in the field and view our new educational exhibits on waste-to-energy and biogas-to-grid projects happening at the Newtown Creek Facility in Brooklyn. Educators booking trips to the Visitor Center at Newtown Creek this spring will have the chance to see firsthand what their students will be learning. Participants will not be able to go to the top of the Digester Eggs, but we will get to see other interesting areas on a guided tour of the facility.
New York State teachers are eligible to earn two CTLE hours for participating in this session.
