Language Learners (ELLs)?  Join us at for Literacy for Life: Building Strong Practices for Teachers of ELLs. Participants will learn from nationally recognized experts and their own NYC colleagues about
what is needed in classrooms serving linguistically diverse learners that will include the following:

  • What makes for strong literacy instruction;
  • How we leverage students’ home language to support their literacy growth; and
  • How we cultivate foundational literacy while laying the foundation for critical thinking and comprehension across disciplines.
