Explore Parallel Experiences: Black Voices: Advocacy for Inclusion in World War II

Open to: Secondary Level Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: A diverse cross-section of Americans participated in World War II on the battlefield and on the home front, yet too many stories are still underrepresented.  This two-credit P Credit course aims to examine the World War II experience through multiple narratives and perspectives. This course will offer teachers a chance to develop a classroom practice which will use oral histories to amplify marginalized voices and connect all learners to these events through parallel experiences.

Participants must first register through ASPDP before registering with the Intrepid Museum starting on May 30, 2023.

The registration partner fee for the Museum is $75.00.
