Discover Shared Lessons from the Intrepid Museum and the National World War II Museum

Open to: Grades 6 – 12 Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: Teaching historical events can be more meaningful when students are able to connect with experiences parallel to their own.  During this workshop participants will do the following:

  • Help students, including multilingual learners, find connections between World War II content and their lived experiences; and
  • Explore multiple resources from both museums, including Double Victory, the World War II demands for mobilization, women in the military, and aspects of the European and Pacific Theaters.

 Four (4) CTLE credits available for eligible participants
