Opportunity at a Glance: During this professional Learning session participants will do the following:
- Explore the program design and components of the Civics for All curriculum, and
- Consider opportunities for successfully integrating the overall Civics for All initiative into their classroom and school culture.
A tour and discussion of the New-York Historical Society’s installation and accompanying curriculum, Our Composite Nation: Frederick Douglass’ America, will be included and participants will leave the session with ready to use resources and materials for civics and social studies instruction.
