Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for “Foundations of Teaching 9/11: The Stories They Tell,” a FREE full-day professional development workshop. The program focuses on the following:
- leveraging inquiry-based learning;
- storytelling to explore what happened on 9/11, how different groups of people were impacted; and
- 9/11’s connections to today.
Special attention will be paid to highlighting unique and diverse voices that can be integrated into your teaching. We will also preview extensive online resources, including multimedia lesson plans, and help participants make cross-curricular connections.
