Lighthouse Collaborative Visit – Mathematics Focus at 23K644, Eagle Academy for Young Men in Brooklyn

Opportunity at a Glance: Join us at Eagle Academy for Young Men II ( a grades 6-12 school) for a Lighthouse Collaborative school visit.   
During this Lighthouse Collaborative school visit, participants will do the following:

  • Learn about approaches to designing and adapting mathematics instruction that balances rigor and accessibility and maximizes student engagement in response to demonstrated strengths and needs.
  • See classroom routines for accountable student discourse in mathematics.
  • Engage with various assessment techniques used for daily instructional decision-making.

At the end of the day, visitors will have the opportunity to plan how these practices can be incorporated into their own work.
