Opportunity at a Glance: Join us at Eagle Academy for Young Men II ( a grades 6-12 school) for a Lighthouse Collaborative school visit. During this Lighthouse Collaborative school visit, participants will do the following:
- Learn about approaches to designing and adapting mathematics instruction that balances rigor and accessibility and maximizes student engagement in response to demonstrated strengths and needs.
- See classroom routines for accountable student discourse in mathematics.
- Engage with various assessment techniques used for daily instructional decision-making.
At the end of the day, visitors will have the opportunity to plan how these practices can be incorporated into their own work.
Key dates: Tuesday April 16 from 8:30a.m. to 2:30p.m.
