Open to: Grades 5-12 Educators
Opportunity at a Glance: Be one of the first New York City educators to be part of a group tour of the much-publicized exhibition “The Harlem Renaissance and Transatlantic Modernism” currently on view at the MET. This will be part of a full day session where grades 5-12 educators will have opportunities to explore the design and components of the Passport to Social Studies curriculum, as well as utilizing some planning time to integrate the various perspectives about the arts, the music, and the literature of that period into their own classroom.
All participants will receive (Passport to Social Studies and Civics for All resources) to take back to their school to share.
