Open to: Middle School Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: Join a cohort of 12 middle school teachers this July at Columbia University’s Zuckerman Institute for a free 4-day workshop with hands-on activities, discussions with guest scientists, and a supportive network of peers. During this 4 day workshop participants will co-create curricula to help middle school students tackle big questions at the intersection of science and society. Topics include the following:
- the role of AI in education;
- the impact of screentime on the developing brain; and
- classroom design for neuro-diverse learners.
Eligible participants will earn a stipend of $1,000 and up to 24 CTLE credits
