Register for the “Trauma-Informed Practice in Elementary Schools” Virtual CTLE Course

Open to: All Grade Level Educators
Opportunity at a Glance: This virtual module will focus on best practices for supporting students of immigrant origin in elementary school classrooms.  During this professional learning participants will do the following:

  • Learn how to identify possible trauma indicators in our learning communities;
  • Explore trauma-informed pedagogical practices, and
  • Develop plans to support students and their families.

Key dates:  

  • Thursday April 24 from 6:00p.m. – 8:30p.m. on Zoom
  • Wednesday May 21 from 6:00p.m. – 8:30p.m. on Zoom
  • Wednesday May 28 from 6:00p.m. – 8:30p.m. on Zoom

An additional 6.5 total hours of asynchronous group and independent work.
