Opportunity at a Glance: Join the Social Studies and Civics team at the Museum of Jewish Heritage: A Living Memorial to the Holocaust for a professional learning session that examines the role of art during and after the Holocaust. Participants will explore how artistic expression functioned as a form of resistance and control, while reviewing resources and strategies for building strong historical context and engaging students through visual sources.
The session includes a guided museum tour of the exhibit The Holocaust: What Hate Can Do and highlights best practices for using museum resources and primary sources to support meaningful classroom instruction.
