Uncover Lower East Side Stories with the Museum at Eldridge Street & Urban Archive

Open to: Social Studies Teachers, Humanities Teachers, K-12 Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: They say there are 8 million stories (and counting) in the naked city.  Down on the Lower East Side, the Museum at Eldridge Street is dedicated to uncovering the stories of Jewish immigrants in New York City.  Step back in time with us and discover where Jewish New Yorkers played, prayed and spent their pennies on a virtual stroll through the old neighborhood.

We will be joined by the team at Urban Archive, who will share tips on using their exciting digital photo tools to help you and your students discover and document their own tales of the city.

Participants will receive 1.5 hours of CTLE
Key dates:  Thursday July 29th, 5:00p.m. – 6:30p.m.
