Opportunity at a Glance: Join the City of New York Department of Sanitation (DSNY) Artist in Residence sTo Len for an artist talk and hands-on workshop that asks us to think and use our trash in unexpected ways. Participants will explore the following of sTo’s:
- Waste-inspired art practice
- Our individual and social relationship to the trash we create and the people who collect and process our trash.
This workshop is a part of Privy Pit, a participatory waste study project under the Office of In Visibility (OOIV), a multidisciplinary public art project in collaboration with the Department of Cultural Affairs and DSNY.
