Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for “Foundations of Teaching 9/11: New Stories, New Perspectives”, a FREE full-day professional development workshop. The program focuses on the following:
- Leveraging inquiry-based learning;
- Storytelling as ways to explore what happened on 9/11;
- Learn how different groups of people were impacted while making connections to the present;
- Highlighting less well-known stories and underrepresented voices;
- Preview extensive online resources including new lesson plans; and
- Help participants make cross-curricular connections.
