Opportunity at a Glance: This seminar will take participants back to the 1970s, when Americans challenged the fundamental institutions that had shaped national life since World War II. The seminar will focus on different parts of society such as government, the economy, social norms, and international relation that came under fire in the aftermath of the Vietnam War and Watergate.
Participants will explore in greater detail the story and lasting ramifications of this critical decade. Led by Professor Julian E. Zelizer (Princeton University).
