Opportunity at a Glance: Have you heard all the Buzz? It is time to enroll your school in the 2026–27 New York City Spelling Bee!. ALL schools—public, charter, private, parochial, and homeschool—are invited to enroll by Saturday, October 31, for a chance to have your student be this year’s champion.

- The enrollment fee is $199
- Scripps cannot NOT accept purchase orders
- Payment must be received by credit card or check.
Only students in grades 4–8 are eligible to participate in the New York City Spelling Bee.
ALL schools must complete their school’s spelling bee by Wednesday, November 25.
